From user flows to learner journeys.

Before discovering my passion for Instructional Design, I built a strong foundation in early childhood and UX Design. While I valued the time I spent in the classroom, I realized it wasn’t my ultimate career goal. Once I discovered instructional design, everything clicked, I could combine creativity, empathy, and strategy to design impactful learning experiences for adult learners. From teaching little preschoolers to designing games for PreK-12th grade students and now creating engaging corporate training, I’ve found joy in helping others grow, expanding the age range of learners I design for with each step of my journey!

Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats in sales, research, user experience and education but my focus has always been on empowering others to feel confident and capable. In my time working as a UX Designer, I got to create digital resources and interactive games that enriched students’ social-emotional learning (SEL). 

 

Currently, as an Instructional Designer at 24/7 Teach, I’m designing effective learning solutions for diverse audiences. I’ve created detailed storyboards, developed engaging training courses, written concise quick start guides, and crafted job aids to help users confidently master new tools and processes.

When I’m not designing

• I spend my time playing Valorant (#IRON)😂 

• Watching Korean and Chinese dramas

• Learning new features on Canva. Big fan! 

• Trying new foods. I love to eat! :) 

• Getting my Masters in Education focusing on Instructional Design and Technology at SFSU
